Job Duties
- develop end-to-end event plans to ensure flawless execution from start to finish
- produce detailed event planning timelines and track progress
- troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
- respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisors
- distribute event orders and schedules to vendors and team defining event specifics
- create timelines and floorplans for set-up, event flow, and tear down details
- oversee pre-event client planning meetings including acquiring vendors, menu planning, theme and decor, budgets, and support event communication and marketing plans
- act as key contact for day of the event to ensure seamless delivery by operations team and vendors
- responsible for on-site coordination including confirming load in, set up time, and verifying certificates of insurance
- support events team with execution by directing event set-up and tear down, welcoming guests, and supporting attendee and speaker requests
- conduct post-event reporting and reconciliation
- suggest recommendations for continuous improvement and cost and process efficiency
- lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values
- impact the quality of own work
- work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
- exchange straightforward information, ask questions and check for understanding
