Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-5 years of relevant event planning experience
  • Knowledge of event procedures and standards
  • Ability to analyze problems and apply judgment
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to fulfill physical demands including lifting 50 lbs or more
  • Advanced mathematical skills
  • Client relationship management experience

  • Experience managing client relationships and ensuring satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Act as the primary on-site event operations leader
  • Oversee operations of events from start to finish according to client requests for seamless delivery
  • Develop end-to-end event plans to ensure flawless execution for both in-person and remote events
  • Produce detailed event planning timelines and track progress
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
  • Distribute event orders and schedules to vendors and teams
  • Create timelines and floor plans for event setup, flow, and teardown
  • Oversee pre-event client planning meetings including vendor acquisition, menu planning, theme and decor, and budgets
  • Support event communication and resolve real-time issues
  • Confirm pre-event setup including space configurations and A/V requirements
  • Manage the meeting and events calendar for event spaces
  • Order and manage event supplies maintaining inventory
  • Serve as key contact on event days for on-site coordination with workplace teams and vendors
  • Oversee setup, refresh, and removal of food, beverage, and service items
  • Conduct post-event reporting and reconciliation
  • Make recommendations for improvement in cost and process efficiency
  • Assist in execution of SLAs and KPIs
  • Develop and maintain event playbooks, process documentation, and training materials
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners, outside vendors, and event professionals
  • Ensure event operations comply with safety, security, and other location requirements
  • Identify enhancements for event success and suggest process improvements
  • Resolve complex problems using appropriate solutions
  • Lead by example modeling CBRE RISE values
