Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Extensive organizational skills
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive and complicated information
- Ability to convey performance expectations and handle problems

Job Duties
- You will be working on behalf of CBRE for a client that is one of the largest integrated fuels, lubricants, and chemical companies in the world
- As a CBRE Meeting & Events Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a small team assigned to meetings, events & conference services
- This role is part of the Workplace Experience function and is responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors of a designated building
- Supervise, train, evaluate, and develop employees
- Oversee hiring and recruiting
- Manage team activities, establish schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff
- Set and track deadlines
- Serve as primary client contact, address inquiries, and resolve escalated issues
- Maintain the department budget and approve purchase orders
- Implement enhancements for event success, analyze productivity reports, and present findings
- Ensure operations and vendors comply with location requirements
- Track SLAs, KPIs, and benchmarks
- identify and address performance gaps
- Resolve issues, lead by example, and influence stakeholders to achieve objectives
