Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum six months related experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Physical ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 60 pounds
  • Willingness to work varied hours including weekends
  • Eagerness to contribute to a positive work culture and team environment

Job Duties

  • Develop and monitor revenue budget
  • Provide feedback and direction to sales and food and beverage staff
  • Participate in weekly sales and food beverage meetings
  • Make sales appointments and cold calls
  • Determine event space availability and close sales contracts
  • Respond to inquiries within 24 hours
  • Conduct site tours for clients
  • Recommend event space and menu options
  • Create Banquet Event Orders
  • Maintain client relationships and increase revenue
  • Work with in-house guests for sales leads
  • Assist with direct sales promotions
  • Produce meeting invoices timely
  • Follow up with clients during and after events
  • Work a 40-hour week including occasional weekends
  • Perform other tasks as requested by management
