Job Requirements
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in staffing, coaching, and performance management preferred
- Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information effectively
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance appraisal, and retention preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and complex information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Serve as primary point of contact for smaller meetings and events
- Provide support for larger and more complex meetings and events
- Coordinate guest services including arrival experience, transportation, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing, and event security
- Create hospitable environments for attendees, event owners, and vendors
- Assist with conference room turnover, midday refresh, and reconfiguration of indoor and outdoor spaces
- Respond to event activities including gathering supplies, equipment, food and beverage services, and facility security
- Conduct room setup, refresh, and removal of food, beverage, and service items
- Maintain outlines of space configurations and décor possibilities
- Complete room checks and troubleshoot audio and technical issues
- Manage small inventory of event supplies
- Coordinate master meeting and events calendar for small to medium-sized event spaces
- Communicate event schedules with team and service providers
- Assist with post-event reporting and reconciliation
- Escalate issues and concerns as appropriate
- Follow defined procedures and solve straightforward problems under close supervision
