Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Up to 2 years of job-related experience
  • Fulfill physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs
  • Ability to lift or carry heavy loads of 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with inquisitive mindset

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary point of contact for planning and coordination of evening and weekend meetings
  • Provide technical audiovisual assistance to meeting guests and act as backup to Conference Center technology specialist
  • Assist meeting planners with event reporting and scheduling
  • Oversee Conference Center turnover and room refresh
  • Identify and resolve typical and atypical problems during events without supervisor approval
  • Follow standardized procedures and work under moderate supervision
  • Assist with additional duties assigned by the Property Manager including front desk reception coverage
