Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of corporate meeting and event planning experience
- Proficient in Office 365, MS Teams, SharePoint, WebEx
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to travel overnight and work occasional evenings/overtime
- Richmond, VA-based with no relocation
- US work authorization required
- English proficiency required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Hospitality Management, Marketing preferred
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation a plus
- 3+ years of corporate meeting and event planning experience
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, energetic, and solution-driven
- Proficient in Office 365, MS Teams, SharePoint, WebEx
- Swoogo experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, travel overnight, and work occasional evenings/overtime
- Richmond, VA-based preference
- English required
Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive coordination across all phases of event delivery, from planning and logistics to onsite setup, production, and post-event closeout
- Serve as dedicated support resource for the team through administrative tasks to enable seamless event operations and team success
- Assist with RFPs, reviewing event orders, tracking budgets, and reconciling expenses
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure services and materials are professional and appropriately reflect high standards
- Create compelling branded event materials and signage to enhance guest experience
- Leverage Swoogo Event Platform to streamline event execution and deliver polished professional event communications and websites
- Prepare essential items such as nametags, gift bags, seating charts, and registration lists
- Maintain accurate event documentation and support post-event follow-up to ensure transparency and accountability
- Research new event possibilities, propose creative approaches, and champion cost-saving initiatives
- Participate in ongoing learning opportunities and contribute to a culture of excellence
