Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of corporate event planning experience
- Proficient in Office 365, MS Teams, SharePoint, WebEx
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, travel overnight, and work occasional evenings or overtime
- Richmond, VA-based (no relocation)
- English required
- US work authorization required

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing or related field
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Minimum 3 years of corporate meeting and event planning experience
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Office 365, MS Teams, SharePoint, WebEx
- Experience with Swoogo platform preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work occasional evenings or overtime
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- English language proficiency
- Based in Richmond, VA
Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive coordination of all event phases from planning through execution and post-event closeout
- Serve as a dedicated support resource through administrative tasks to enable seamless event operations
- Assist with requests for proposals, review event orders, track budgets, and reconcile expenses
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure professional services and materials
- Create compelling branded event materials and signage
- Leverage Swoogo Event Platform to streamline event execution and professional communications
- Prepare nametags, gift bags, seating charts, and registration lists
- Maintain accurate event documentation and support post-event follow-up
- Research new event possibilities, propose creative approaches, and champion cost-saving initiatives
- Participate in ongoing learning opportunities and contribute to a culture of excellence
- Perform additional duties as assigned
