Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in event management or related field
  • Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Minimum 1 year experience in event management or related professional area
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments
  • Customer service focus
  • Ability to manage event logistics
  • Knowledge of billing processes
  • Capability to handle guest complaints

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of event management experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Knowledge of billing and revenue forecasting

Job Duties

  • Prepare all event documentation
  • Coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers
  • Ensure seamless event progression
  • Manage group room blocks and meeting spaces
  • Oversee billing accuracy and conduct bill reviews
  • Act as liaison between sales and customers
  • Conduct pre-event and post-event meetings
  • Solicit feedback for continuous improvement
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Handle guest problems and complaints
  • Support sales with up-selling and revenue forecasting
  • Review guest satisfaction and provide employee feedback
  • Implement corrective action plans
  • Participate in customer site inspections
  • Perform other duties as assigned
