Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • certification required according to state regulations
  • knowledge and experience working with elderly residents
  • preferred experience with dementia care
  • basic reading and writing skills
  • ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • full use of hands, arms, and legs

Job Qualifications

  • experience working with elderly residents
  • dementia care experience preferred
  • basic reading and writing skills
  • ability to speak English clearly
  • understanding of medication administration procedures
  • physical ability to perform caregiving tasks

Job Duties

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents
  • maintain accurate medication records and documentation
  • assist residents with daily living activities as a caregiver when needed
  • adhere to state regulations and company policies regarding medication administration
  • communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • support overall resident wellness and safety
  • participate in employee appreciation and training events
