high school diploma or ged
one year experience in healthcare preferred
nc state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire for emergency departments and behavioral health units required
experience with answering multiple phone lines preferred
basic computer skills
excellent customer service behaviors

Job Duties

greet and assist patients and visitors at the unit entrance
answer and manage multiple phone lines efficiently
coordinate communication between patients, families, and healthcare staff
maintain accurate patient records and clerical documentation
schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the unit
ensure compliance with facility policies and safety protocols
provide excellent customer service and support to enhance patient experience
