Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to transport individuals outside city limits
- Ability to assist with personal hygiene and support needs
- Reliable and responsible behavior
- No GED or high school diploma required
Job Qualifications
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations
- Effective multi-tasking and time management skills
- Teamwork and dependable work ethic
- Patience and compassion in dealing with individuals with disabilities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Job Duties
- Transport individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to medical, dental, vision appointments and family visits using a company van
- Coordinate with office nurses and staff regarding appointment times, insurance, and scheduling
- Ensure smooth and timely transportation services
- Assist people with personal hygiene
- Support individuals with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Handle behavioral challenges and complex needs with patience and compassion
- Travel outside city limits as required
