Job Requirements
- Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or medical field
- At least one year of experience in a Medical Science Liaison role
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as FDA, ICH, and GCP
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60% covering the territory of Florida
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Job Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree such as M.D., D.O., Ph.D., Pharm.D. in Medical or Biological Sciences
- Minimum of 1 year of MSL experience
- Familiar with drug development process, FDA, ICH, and GCP guidelines
- Experience with clinical trials for academic or industry settings is a plus
- Ability to review and interpret clinical data
- Skilled in developing clinical data and medical content for presentations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Project management experience is a plus
- Experience with rare diseases in medical affairs or research is a plus
- Excellent time management and the ability to work independently
Job Duties
- Deliver clinical and scientific presentations to health care professionals including clinicians and P&T committee members
- Support medical community with up-to-date medical information and product expertise
- Provide scientific support at medical conferences
- Maintain peer-to-peer collaborations with key medical experts
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests
- Collaborate with physicians on medical affairs initiatives including publications and research
- Support clinical initiatives including site identification and presentation of clinical data
- Provide input into planning and execution of advisory boards
- Train staff on scientific and medical topics
- Participate in the development and review of professional materials
- Develop territory plan with input from management
- Gather clinical field insights and inform team
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
