Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma
- Prior experience in long-term care environment preferred
- Ability to use a computer
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional behavior

Job Duties
- Answer phones and transfer calls to appropriate staff members as well as take clear and concise messages
- Greet visitors as they enter the facility and provide direction to visitors, residents, and vendors while maintaining the visitor log
- Understand and adhere to emergency procedures, respond to residents, staff, visitors, and building emergencies by following established policies including placing phone calls for assistance or notification
- Maintain an orderly work area
- Exhibit appropriate behavior and conversation with staff, residents, visitors, and vendors
- Maintain resident confidentiality and treat residents with kindness, dignity, and respect
- Be familiar with and comply with Resident's Rights, ensure resident safety and promptly report all complaints, accidents, and incidents to supervisor
- Attend and participate in orientation, educational in-services, and required annual training
- Assist the Business Office Manager with accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, and resident account functions
- Assist with special projects and other duties as requested
