Job Requirements
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Experience in acute care or primary care clinic or disease management
- Experience using or viewing electronic medical records
- Ability to audit with 95 percent accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations
- Ability to adapt to remote and office work environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Experience in acute care, primary care clinic, or disease management
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Experience performing chart audits preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Effective organizational and planning abilities
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Job Duties
- Review medical records obtained by vendor and electronically at PacificSource office
- Perform medical record review according to NCQA HEDIS specifications
- Enter data using certified HEDIS software after training
- Confirm member identification and necessary data elements per HEDIS specifications
- Document numerator events and exclusions in the software and by capturing medical record pages
- Maintain 95% accuracy in auditing
- Protect PHI by following confidentiality and security protocols
- Adhere to company privacy policies and HIPAA regulations
- Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned
