Job Requirements

  • Post high school office procedures preferred
  • minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience or six months in a medical setting
  • customer service experience
  • degree or relevant certificate such as Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator may be substituted for experience
  • ability to work Monday through Friday day shifts
  • excellent communication skills
  • discretion and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • proficiency in basic office equipment

Job Duties

  • Greeting patients with professionalism and warmth
  • answering phones and directing calls appropriately
  • assisting patients and their families with inquiries and scheduling
  • performing patient registration and charge entry accurately
  • posting payments and maintaining batch balancing
  • conducting cash reconciliation and balancing
  • operating various office equipment efficiently
