Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Flexibility to travel to at least three ConvenientMD locations within one hour from primary clinic
- Availability for training shifts outside primary clinic
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proactive and confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Compassionate, authentic, and patient-focused attitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Effective communicator and collaborator within a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Medical receptionist certification (preferred)
- Experience in medical receptionist or customer service roles (preferred)
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes (preferred)
- Experience with electronic records management software (preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance billing and coding (preferred)
Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Register patients efficiently and accurately
- Update and maintain new and existing patient records
- Collect payments, insurance co-pays, and prescription charges following clinic policies
- Handle insurance and billing inquiries and provide clear information to patients
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and clinic operations
- Manage patient reservations, schedule specialist referrals, and maintain front desk organization
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly and professionally
- Perform administrative duties such as photocopying, filing, and maintaining daily logs
- Navigate and utilize multiple software systems for scheduling and electronic medical records
