Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • ability to work three 12-hour shifts weekly (full-time) or two shifts weekly (part-time) with weekend shifts
  • willingness to travel to multiple ConvenientMD locations within a one-hour commute
  • ability to attend training shifts outside primary clinic
  • high school diploma or GED
  • effective communicator
  • detail-oriented
  • compassionate and patient-focused
  • skilled in multitasking and organization
  • proficient with Microsoft Office
  • trustworthy with confidential information
  • ability to handle fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • complete patient registration and ensure accurate information on all required forms
  • address patient inquiries in person and over the phone regarding insurance and billing
  • collect payments including insurance co-pays and prescription charges following clinic policies
  • manage patient reservations both online and walk-in to ensure efficient clinic flow
  • assist with scheduling specialist referrals and follow-up appointments
  • maintain the reception area organized and perform administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and maintaining daily logs
  • utilize multiple software systems for scheduling, patient records, and financial transactions
  • answer and direct phone calls promptly and professionally
  • support ill or distressed patients with available resources
  • act as a resource for CMD services and offerings to patients
