Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year post-secondary education with coursework in business, medical assistant program, or nursing assistant program or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high level customer service to physicians, patients, and internal/external customers
  • Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff, and patients in a timely, confidential manner
  • Demonstrated analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to team environment
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent

  • Preferred: fluency in Spanish depending on position

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact by greeting and welcoming patients and others in person or via telephone
  • Answer incoming calls professionally
  • Check in and out patients per established protocols
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently
  • Register patients accurately
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Collaborate professionally with physicians and clinic staff
