- Minimum 16 years of age
- Ability to provide high level of customer service to physicians, patients, and internal/external customers
- Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff, and patients in a timely, confidential manner
- Analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Flexibility and dedication to team environment
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Demonstrated ability to provide high level of customer service to physicians, patients, and internal/external customers
- Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff, and patients in a timely, confidential manner
- Demonstrated analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to a team environment
- Effective communication skills
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- One year post-secondary education in business, medical assistant program, nursing assistant program or equivalent experience preferred
- Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Fluency in Spanish preferred depending on position available
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact by greeting and welcoming patients and visitors in person and via telephone
- Answer incoming calls professionally and redirect as necessary
- Check in and check out patients according to established protocols
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
- Register patients by collecting and verifying necessary information
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and communications
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
