Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to travel between East Bay clinics
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong multitasking and organizational abilities
  • basic computer proficiency
  • compassionate and patient-centered mindset
  • previous experience in a medical receptionist or related role preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or patient-facing roles
  • familiarity with dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics preferred
  • knowledge of insurance carriers including Medicare, commercial, and HMO plans preferred
  • proficiency with EMR software such as EClinicalWorks or EMA preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and manage tasks efficiently

Job Duties

  • Warmly welcome patients
  • assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility
  • handle phone inquiries
  • maintain patient records
  • manage appointment schedules including auditing and confirming appointments
  • contact patients to fill schedule openings and offer earlier slots
  • provide product education and sell skincare products
  • multitask and manage tasks promptly
  • perform additional duties as assigned by the Practice Manager
  • strive to provide exceptional patient service
