Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum one year post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated customer service abilities
- Ability to work professionally with physicians, staff and patients
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Flexibility and dedication to teamwork
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum of one year post-secondary education with coursework in business, medical assistant program or nursing assistant program OR equivalent combination of education/experience in customer service or medical scheduling
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff and patients with confidentiality
- Demonstrated analytical, prioritization and organizational skills
- Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to a team environment
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in healthcare environment preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact by greeting and welcoming patients and others in person or via the telephone
- Answer incoming calls in a professional manner
- Check in and check out patients per established protocols
- Schedule patient appointments accurately
- Register patients and update their records
- Provide high-level customer service to physicians, patients and internal/external customers
- Communicate effectively with clinic staff and physicians while maintaining confidentiality
