Job Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the medical field preferred
- Knowledge of medical insurance preferred
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- Availability to work rotating weekly schedule including some Saturdays
- Must maintain professionalism while interacting with patients and staff
- Basic computer skills required
Job Qualifications
- Experience in medical reception or healthcare administrative roles
- Familiarity with medical insurance concepts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of NextGen software is a plus
Job Duties
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Assisting incoming patients
- Verifying insurance coverage
- Entering patient demographics into the computer
- Pulling and filing medical charts
- Assisting the office manager and physicians as needed
- Serving as the face of the practice for patients
