Job Requirements
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Ability to provide high-level customer service
- Professionalism in interacting with physicians, staff, and patients
- Confidentiality in handling patient information
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts
- Willingness to complete mandatory training
- Ability to use telephone and computer systems
- Capacity to work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Demonstrated ability to provide high levels of customer service to physicians, patients, and internal/external customers
- Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff, and patients in a timely and confidential manner
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Flexibility and dedication to a team environment
- Effective communication skills
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- One year post-secondary education in business, medical assistant or nursing assistant program, or equivalent experience preferred
- Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, preferred
- Fluency in Spanish preferred depending on the position
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in person at the check-in desk or via telephone
- Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Check in and check out patients per established protocols
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately
- Register patients ensuring all information is collected and recorded correctly
- Coordinate with physicians and clinic staff to facilitate timely patient flow
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
