Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt to staffing and patient volume changes
- Maturity to withstand pressure in interactions with public and physicians
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Availability to work Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Customer service experience
- Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle pressure professionally in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet patients and establish a friendly and positive intake and check out encounter
- Maintain efficient patient flow in the clinic
- Answer phones promptly and courteously
- Schedule patient appointments accurately
- Register patients and manage patient information
- Handle billing and payment collection activities following clinic policies
- Learn and understand diversified insurance plans and medical terminology
