Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to staffing and patient volume changes
  • Maturity to withstand pressure in interactions with public and physicians
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Customer service experience
  • Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle pressure professionally in a healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and establish a friendly and positive intake and check out encounter
  • Maintain efficient patient flow in the clinic
  • Answer phones promptly and courteously
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately
  • Register patients and manage patient information
  • Handle billing and payment collection activities following clinic policies
  • Learn and understand diversified insurance plans and medical terminology
