Job Duties

  • Process orders according to guidelines
  • follow computer downtime procedures
  • enter and update information in computer system accurately
  • maintain unit log according to guidelines
  • make follow up appointments
  • perform discharge related clerical tasks
  • respond to patient call system and patient requests providing clear information
  • use telephone, patient call system, paging, fax, scanning, and monitoring devices to facilitate communication and workflow
  • order, maintain and use supplies in a cost effective manner
  • perform additional duties as assigned
