Job Requirements

  • Post high school office procedures preferred
  • minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience or six months in a medical setting
  • customer service experience
  • degree or relevant certificate like Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Health Unit Coordinator may be substituted for experience

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • customer service experience
  • experience in clerical or receptionist roles

Job Duties

  • Greeting patients warmly
  • answering phones and directing calls efficiently
  • assisting patients and families with inquiries
  • scheduling patient appointments accurately
  • managing patient registration processes
  • entering charges and posting payments
  • performing batch balancing and cash reconciliation
  • operating various types of basic office equipment
  • maintaining professionalism and discretion in all interactions
