Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • experience in a healthcare or customer service environment preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • basic knowledge of insurance processes
  • proficiency in scheduling and administrative software
  • ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • dependable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working in a medical or physical therapy office preferred
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to interact professionally with patients and external partners
  • strong organizational skills
  • familiarity with medical billing and insurance verification
  • proficiency with appointment scheduling systems

Job Duties

  • Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment
  • schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
  • communicate regularly with attorney offices, insurance companies, and translation services
  • collect co-pays from patients and manage payer approvals
  • conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
  • maintain accurate patient records and documentation
