Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service to physicians, patients and other internal or external customers
  • Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff and patients in a timely, confidential manner
  • Demonstrated analytical, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to team environment
  • Effective communication skills

  • Effective communication skills
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • One year post-secondary education with coursework in business, medical assistant program or nursing assistant program or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred depending on position available

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact by greeting and welcoming patients and others in person and via telephone
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional manner
  • Check in and check out patients per established protocols
  • Schedule patient appointments and register patients
  • Manage computer, faxing, and scanning duties related to clinic operations
  • Work professionally with physicians, clinic staff, and patients to facilitate timely and confidential services
  • Maintain a high level of customer service for physicians, patients, and internal and external customers
