Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year receptionist experience
- proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and EMR systems
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- ability to handle high-stress situations calmly
- dependable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of receptionist experience preferably in a healthcare setting
- proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and EMR systems preferably Allscripts
- excellent communication skills
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work well within a team
- capable of working independently in a high-stress environment
Job Duties
- Greet and direct visitors with a smile
- handle copay collections
- manage appointment scheduling
- prepare paperwork and make reminder phone calls
- keep patient files up-to-date and accurate
- answer calls professionally and take messages
- assist with computer input, typing, scheduling, form preparation, correspondence, data compilation, and office projects
- maintain office equipment and supplies
- keep reception area clean and orderly
- take on additional tasks and projects as needed
- create a positive impression on every patient
