Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- two to three years experience in a medical office or healthcare facility preferred
- strong oral communication skills
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- willingness to work 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with some flexibility
- availability for Saturday rotations
- ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 20 pounds, walk and type for extended periods
- maintain HIPAA compliance
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- two to three years experience in a medical office or healthcare facility preferred
- customer-focused with strong oral communication and telephone skills
- ability to work well in a fast paced environment while maintaining quality of work
- basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- basic computer and keyboarding skills
- EHR experience preferred
- exceptional skills in customer service, organization, prioritization, and attention to detail

Job Duties
- Perform the following functions on a rotational basis: check in, check out, schedule and runner
- ensure patient satisfaction by greeting patients, families and visitors in a warm and welcoming way
- ensure registration form is complete and up to date, updating patient accounts when needed
- pull and prep charts
- distribute all incoming faxes and pull charts to attach any reports, results or correspondence
- answer phone calls
- balancing out at end of day
- arrange servicing for front office equipment
- arrange for the destruction of PHI
- assist other personnel in times of high volume
- maintain HIPAA compliance
- willing participant in a team environment
- work well independently
- maintain positive working relationships with co-workers
- attend staff meetings
- arrive to work at scheduled time
- must rotate late night hours with other front office personnel
- must rotate Saturday hours with other front office personnel (8:00am-12:30pm)
