Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a medical reception or related administrative role preferred
- Proficiency with Centricity Business Practice Management System or similar software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work first shift
- Compliance with HIPAA privacy and security standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with medical practice management systems preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills

Job Duties
- Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting warmly and answering or referring inquiries
- Utilizes Centricity Business Practice Management System, registers patients according to standard procedures
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records
- Schedules appointments for patients
- Scans and files administrative and medical information in patient’s medical record
- Makes appointment reminder calls to patients with upcoming appointments
- Maintains forms and office supplies required for call center activities
- Participates in staff and educational meetings
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures
- reporting needed changes
- Contributes to team effort to assure excellent patient care and service
- Responds to customer's needs with care, courtesy, and respect
- Listens attentively to customers to understand their needs
- Delivers clear and courteous messages to customers and team members
- Interacts effectively with persons of all backgrounds
- Respects and maintains patient confidentiality
- Provides efficient and professional telephone services
- Maintains compliance with company policies and HIPAA requirements
