Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • one to two years’ experience preferred
  • knowledge of multi-line telephones and PC software
  • proficiency in office equipment operation
  • good oral and written communication skills
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • customer service orientation
  • ability to work in an office setting with light physical demands

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • business school or formal secretarial training a plus
  • one to two years’ experience preferred
  • knowledge of office equipment and supplies
  • good communication skills both oral and written
  • good interpersonal skills
  • customer service orientated
  • participates in orientation and continuing education to maintain knowledge and skills related to expertise
  • solid understanding of service-related terminology

Job Duties

  • Promote a healthy work environment
  • work collaboratively with CNY Family Group
  • review CCDs for CNY Family Group and route to appropriate team members
  • collaborate and communicate regularly with management regarding goals, needs/concerns
  • handle incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • scan and fax documentation
  • ensure accuracy in scheduling based on provider preference sheets and office standards
  • maintain confidentiality
  • deliver messages and respond to inquiries professionally
  • use appropriate diction and grammar
  • employ professional manners and tact
  • maintain a safe and secure environment
  • demonstrate competency in using PC terminals, telephones, copier, email system, and fax machine
