Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • must be 18 years or older
  • practice management system knowledge
  • patient scheduling capabilities
  • insurance plan understanding
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multitask
  • capability to follow HIPAA regulations
  • prolonged sitting and some physical activity including walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching
  • good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
  • normal range of hearing and eyesight

Job Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • experience with Raintree Practice Management System is a plus
  • strong relationship building and customer service skills
  • ability to maintain confidential documents
  • ability to demonstrate active listening and provide and receive feedback objectively
  • strong team player attributes
  • ability to multitask while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere

Job Duties

  • Greets warmly and maintains a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators and any external connections
  • clearly communicates with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and courteous manner
  • responsible for answering phones and greeting patients with professionalism and care in a timely manner and returning voicemails same day received
  • maintains higher than 85% answer call rate
  • participates in and adheres to the HIPAA policies and procedures of Therapy Partner Group
  • escalates patient issues and concerns, as needed, to local Clinical leadership and Regional Front Office management
  • schedules patient’s initial evaluations and follow up visits through plan of care
