Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 or older
- Experience with practice management system knowledge
- Understanding of patient scheduling and insurance plans
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Prolonged sitting, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment
- Normal range of hearing and eyesight to manage reports
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and active listening skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with practice management system, Raintree PMS experience a plus
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidential documents
- Strong team player
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining positive patient atmosphere
- Understanding of patient scheduling and insurance plans
Job Duties
- Greets warmly and maintains a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators and external connections
- Clearly communicates with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and courteous manner
- Responsible for answering phones and greeting patients with the utmost professionalism and care in a timely manner and returning voice messages the same day received
- Maintains a higher than 85 percent answer call rate
- Participates in and adheres to HIPAA policies and procedures
- Escalates patient issues and concerns to local clinical leadership and regional front office management
- Schedules patient’s initial evaluations and follow-up visits through plan of care
