Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite
  • experience scheduling for providers
  • prior clinic or healthcare administrative experience preferred
  • familiarity with VA systems such as CPRS/VISTA GUI is a plus
  • strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association, to be renewed annually

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite
  • experience scheduling for providers
  • demonstrated high-quality customer service and organizational skills
  • clinic experience preferred
  • VA experience a plus, familiarity with CPRS/VISTA GUI
  • Basic Life Support certification

Job Duties

  • Greet patients for check-in or check-out
  • verify all clinical reminders have been completed before discharge
  • maintain patient records and enrollment tasks
  • assist Nurse Manager/Clinic Administrator with inventory and supplies
  • perform additional administrative duties such as phones, filing, and maintaining the office
  • ensure confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
  • provide high-quality customer service
