Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical insurance a plus
  • willingness to cover multiple office locations as required
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • friendly and professional demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in the medical field preferred
  • knowledge of medical insurance and billing processes a plus
  • proficiency with NextGen software is advantageous
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • assisting incoming patients
  • verifying insurance coverage
  • entering patient demographics into the computer
  • pulling and filing medical charts
  • assisting the office manager and physicians as needed
  • representing the practice professionally as the face of the office
