Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of medical reception experience
- Willingness and ability to travel/float between 5 clinics in the DFW market (CenterWell North Buckner, Redbird, South Garland, NW Dallas, Richardson)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience working with EMR systems
- Familiarity with value-based care models
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Knowledge of MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Passionate about contributing to patient-centered care
- Team-oriented with positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of medical reception experience
- Experience with EMR systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience in a value-based care model
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and high organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Passion for improving patient experiences and care
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Experience in leading a team or department preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Greeting patients and visitors professionally in person and by phone
- Managing appointment calendars and scheduling patient visits
- Maintaining and updating patient records accurately and confidentially using EMR and CRM systems
- Ensuring patient accounts are updated and collecting copays when necessary
- Responding to patient inquiries and providing general information
- Maintaining a tidy and well-stocked reception area
- Providing administrative support including monitoring performance metrics and conducting team huddles
- Acting as a subject matter expert and team lead for receptionist staff
- Traveling to multiple clinics within the DFW market and supporting center administration in absence of the administrator
- Addressing and resolving issues, escalations, and complaints from patients and staff
