Job Requirements

  • Post high school office procedures preferred
  • Minimum one year of clerical and or receptionist experience or six months in a medical setting
  • Customer service experience
  • Degree or relevant certificate such as Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator may be substituted for experience

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and provide excellent customer service
  • Answer phones and direct calls appropriately
  • Assist patients and their families with queries and scheduling
  • Complete patient registration and charge entry accurately
  • Post payments and perform batch balancing
  • Reconcile and balance cash transactions
  • Operate various types of basic office equipment
