Job Requirements
- High school diploma, general equivalency diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to travel within 30 minutes of home
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle financial responsibilities accurately
- Willingness to work additional hours and provide cross coverage
- Adherence to HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Commitment to punctuality and effective time management

- Prior receptionist or clerical experience in a medical office preferred
- Experience with Epic software preferred
- CPR certification preferred
Job Duties
- Receive and direct all communication courteously and consistently
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and office policy
- Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously
- Assist patients with the sign-in process and respond promptly to their needs
- Support financial responsibilities including billing, collections, preparing bank deposits and credit card batches
- Monitor and manage office supply inventory and equipment
- Manage patient check-in process including verifying information and collecting copayments
- Manage patient check-out process ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Promote patient satisfaction through friendly and helpful interactions
- Maintain efficient and accurate filing and record maintenance systems
- Assemble new patient folders and manage medical records retrieval and return
- Adapt work schedule to meet practice needs and provide coverage as necessary
- Serve as a pre-loader for the EMR system
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior
