Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general educational development (G.E.D.)
- six months previous customer service experience preferred
- strong verbal communication skills
- computer proficiency including mouse and keyboard use

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Register patients for appointments by collecting and verifying patient demographics and insurance information
- greet, direct, and assist patients with questions to facilitate patient care
- answer telephone calls to schedule appointments, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- prepare records for office visits by reviewing electronic medical records to expedite patient care
- handle insurance inquiries by answering questions, assisting with referrals, and completing paperwork for timely charge submissions
- process and distribute written communications and documents accurately
- provide age-specific patient care to ensure comfort and understanding of treatment
