Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to patient needs
- Strong accountability and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel within 30 minutes of home and float to various locations
Job Qualifications

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs
- Strong focus on teamwork and patient care
- Prior receptionist or clerical experience in a medical office preferred
- Experience with Epic system preferred
- CPR certification preferred
Job Duties
- Receive and direct all communications courteously and consistently
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and office policies
- Greet patients and visitors promptly and in a friendly manner
- Assist patients with the sign-in process and respond to their needs promptly
- Support financial responsibilities including billing, collections, and preparing bank deposits
- Monitor and maintain office supply inventory and equipment
- Manage patient check-in process verifying demographic information and insurance eligibility
- Handle patient check-out process including posting charges, collecting balances, and scheduling appointments
- Promote patient satisfaction through excellent service
- Maintain efficient and accurate filing and record systems
- Assemble new patient folders and manage records retrieval
- Adapt work schedule to meet practice needs, including cross-covering and working additional hours
- Serve as a pre-loader for the EMR system
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior
