Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a medical front office or healthcare setting
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical scheduling, insurance verification, and electronic medical records systems
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalism
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking required
  • Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading

Job Duties

  • Greet patients warmly, assist with scheduling, and guide them through the check-in process
  • Schedule and confirm patient visits, ensuring timely care
  • Verify patient information, collect documentation, explain sliding fee discounts, and process payments
  • Answer patient questions about charges, insurance coverage, and paperwork
  • Maintain accurate patient records, organize mail and faxes, complete opening/closing checklists
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, stocked, and fully operational
