Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years medical reception experience or transferable skills
- Must speak Spanish fluently
- Strong computer and digital proficiency
- Reliable work attendance
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Spanish fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven experience in medical receptionist roles
- Computer proficient with web-based applications and Microsoft Outlook
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and MyChart systems
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
Job Duties
- Greet patients promptly and courteously
- verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility
- review and enter new patient registration information into the EMR system
- manage telephone calls, messages, and email communication efficiently
- schedule patient appointments using EMR and scheduling software
- perform faxing and scanning of paperwork
- collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care
