Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a medical front office or healthcare setting
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical scheduling, insurance verification, and electronic medical records systems
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalism
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking is required and fluent in speaking, writing, and reading

Job Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and assist with scheduling
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirm patient visits
  • Verify patient information and process payments
  • Answer patient questions about charges and insurance coverage
  • Maintain accurate patient records and organize daily mail and faxes
  • Complete essential opening and closing checklists
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, stocked, and fully operational
