Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of receptionist experience, preferably in healthcare
  • proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and EMR systems such as Allscripts
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • ability to remain professional and courteous under pressure
  • capability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • willingness to take on a flexible range of administrative duties

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet and direct visitors with a smile, providing clear instructions and ensuring they feel comfortable and informed
  • handle copay collections, appointment scheduling, paperwork preparation, and reminder phone calls
  • keep patient files up-to-date and balanced, ensuring all information is entered correctly
  • answer calls professionally, screen and take messages, and address caller needs with exceptional customer service
  • assist with computer input, typing, scheduling, form preparation, correspondence, data compilation, and various projects to support the office team
  • maintain office equipment and supplies, keeping the reception area clean and orderly
  • take on additional tasks and projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the team
  • create a lasting, positive impression on every patient
