Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) required
- Six months previous customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Skilled in computer operation including mouse, keyboard, scheduling, registration, and patient care applications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work in diverse healthcare environment
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend various reports and documents
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Register patients for appointments by collecting and verifying patient demographics, insurance information, and other essential information
- Greet, direct, and assist patients with questions to facilitate patient care in a prompt and polite manner
- Answer telephone to schedule appointments, take messages, direct calls to appropriate personnel, and handle other patient matters to ensure excellent customer service
- Prepare records for office visits by reviewing Electronic Medical Records
- Handle insurance inquiries by answering questions, assisting with referrals, and completing necessary paperwork
- Process and distribute written communication and documents accurately
- Provide appropriate care specific to the age of the patient to ensure understanding and comfort
