Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one year of receptionist, admin support, customer service, or healthcare-related experience
  • intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to travel 10 percent within 30 miles of assigned territory
  • access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or higher
  • one year of receptionist, administrative support, customer service, or healthcare-related experience
  • intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to travel up to 10 percent within 30 miles of assigned territory
  • access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license
  • preferred 6 months of experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting
  • preferred 6 months working with an electronic health record

Job Duties

  • Schedule and triage appointment requests for urgency according to approved protocols
  • consult a medical assistant or licensed clinician for clinical decision making when necessary
  • use call processing and EHR functionality to take messages and communicate with clinicians
  • greet patients and conduct check-in process
  • monitor daily reminder call logs to reschedule appointments
  • scan and index documents into the EHR ensuring availability prior to patient visits
  • close payment batches and balance according to cash control procedures
  • maintain knowledge of OSHA and ProHealth policies
  • assist coworkers to ensure smooth office operation and excellent service
  • perform other duties as assigned
