Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or higher
- Minimum 1 year of receptionist experience or equivalent customer service or administrative experience
- Ability to schedule and triage appointments efficiently
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Capability to handle cash transactions accurately and follow cash control policies
- Willingness to work a schedule including rotating Saturdays
- Ability to adhere to OSHA standards and office policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or higher
- 1 year of receptionist experience or equivalent customer service or admin-related experience
- Experience working with an electronic health record
- Office administrative, receptionist, or clerical experience in a medical environment
- Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or related fields
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Job Duties
- Schedule and triage appointment requests for urgency according to approved protocols
- Use call processing and other applicable functionality in the EHR to take messages and communicate with clinicians
- Greet patients and conduct check-in process
- Monitor daily reminder call logs to reschedule appointments as needed
- Scan and index documents into the EHR ensuring documents and lab results are available in advance
- Close payment batches at the end of each shift and assemble and balance batches according to cash control procedures
- Maintain knowledge of OSHA and ProHealth policies
- Assist coworkers as needed to assure smooth office operation and delivery of service
- Perform other duties as assigned
