Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- completed training program in Medical Office Assisting from accredited college preferred
- two years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- possess a valid driver's license
- bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
- able to quickly build and maintain rapport with patients and providers of differing backgrounds
- customer-service oriented
- familiar with adult learning and general training techniques
- positive professional insight
- flexibility and dependability
- demonstrated good problem-solving skills
- sound judgment
- effective leadership or supervisory skills
- proficient in modern office practices and procedures including email
- intermediate computer skills
- attention to detail and excellent follow-through on work tasks
- able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- able to lift up to 20 pounds and push up to 50 pounds on wheels
- able to hear staff on the phone and those served in person and speak clearly
- able to read memos, computer screens, personnel forms, clinical and administrative documents
- must have high manual dexterity
- able to reach above shoulder level, bend, squat, sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, twist, and turn

Job Duties
- Provide prompt clerical support
